Knudson-Bosly Memorial Park- On the shores of Lake Yankton.
Amenities Include: Gazebo, picnic shelter equipped with tables and electricity, handicap accessible fishing pier, boat ramps, bathrooms, grill sites, swimming, playground equipment, sheltered picnic tables and sand volleyball court.

Lions Parks- Lake and Central Avenue.
Amenities Include: Playground equipment and benches, picnic tables and shelter, sand volleyball court, horseshoe court and military memorial, RV parking.

Eastbay Camping- Four campsites with full hookups are available in the Eastbay 9 Golf Course area north of the Colonial Manor. Camp Fees $20.00 per night. For further information and reservations call 507-734-4711.

Baseball/Softball Complex- Maple Avenue.
City owned and used for summer recreation ballgames, and men’s and women’s softball leagues. Bleachers and two ball diamonds available. Water fountain and concession stand.

Fred Swanson Memorial Nature Trail – The Fred Swanson Memorial Trail was established in 1998. The trail begins behind the Colonial Manor Nursing Home. The trail winds along Breenings Slough and Spink Lake and ends where it begins. The trail is home to an abundance of wildlife, plants and flowers. It is open to hunting and trapping during all state regulated seasons.


Garvin Park- Located 13 miles south of Marshall on Highway 59, Garvin Park provides 700 acres of outdoor recreation for residents of all ages. The park features two campgrounds with 30 campsites, all with electricity. Modern shower facilities and toilets are available. Camden State Park-Located just 10 miles southwest of Marshall on Highway 23, Camden State Park offers much for visitors to enjoy. Fish for brown trout in the Redwood River or bass and bluegill in Brawner Lake. Hike the trails, or cool off in the spring-fed pond. Walk along the wooded river valley, climb the Dakota Valley Trail to the lookout for great fall colors, or go canoeing on Brawner Lake. Woodlands –maples, basswoods, oaks and cottonwoods –dominate the park. Sun-drenched prairie grasslands and marshes offer added diversity. The park also provides picnic areas, campgrounds (drive-in, horseback and group), swimming, hiking and cross country skiing. Camden State Park has 80 drive-in campsites available in the Upper and Lower Campgrounds. There are 7 pull-through sites located in the Upper Campground. Electric sites are available, 20 in the Upper Campground and 9 in the Lower Campground. In the Lower Campground, there are 2 sites available that are handicapped accessible. RV’s are permitted, with a 50 foot length limit. In addition, 12 sites have a maximum capacity of 50 which are available for horseback groups, and a group camp for up to 50 people can be reserved. Greenwood Park - Greenwood and Adams Streets.
Amenities Include: Playground equipment, basketball net and board, softball filed with backstop.

Nehl’s Roadside Park - Highway 14.
Amenities Include: Picnic shelter, place to pitch horseshoes.

Sebastian Park – East 2nd Street and Elm Street.
Amenities Include: Playground equipment, picnic tables. Public Pool, opens first week in June, lessons available during the summer.

Softball Complex – Behind North Star Modular Homes on Highway 14.
Amenities Include: Two softball diamonds (including outfield fences and backstops), concession stand, bathrooms, picnic tables, sand volleyball court.

Tornado Tree – Highway 14 and 5th Street.
Amenities Include: Dedicated to the nine people who died in the June 13, 1968, Tracy Tornado. The Tornado Tree, a gnarled elm that withstood the force of the tornado, originally stood at the corner of 5th and Rowland Streets. A steel sculpture replica of the original Tornado Tree was erected in 1989.

Werner Park – First and Hollett Streets.
Amenities Include: Playground equipment, picnic tables.

Swift Lake Park – On the north edge of Tracy on County Road 11, about 23 acres.
Amenities Include:  Swift Lake is stocked with panfish. Handicapped-accessible fishing pier for shore fishing. Camping: 10 electrical hookups, some primitive sites; bathrooms and showers. Other Amenities: Roofed picnic shelter, playground equipment.
